Many women seek out that ‘sense of belonging’ within a community and Minwaashin has been able to give that to all who participate in our programs and services. Our Culture program is pivotal when it comes to reconnecting women to their roots or wanting to explore what those roots are for the first time. To believe in oneself to take that leap of faith to create a piece of art will only enhance their self-worth, pride, and love for self.
